I am huge fan of the fabulous Annie Sloan chalk paint.  Its second to none.  The colours are just dreamy and the quality is like no other!  There is no sanding or priming to do.  Just a clean dry surface is all that is required!  I have attended painting masterclasses with Tristan from Dog Head Designs, who is one of Annie’s brand ambassadors, former painter in residence and an undeniably  formidable chalk painter.  I can highly recommended the Podcast ‘The colourist’ where Annie and Tristan chat their way through her paint colours, sharing nuggets of art history and pearls of wisdom on colour theory.
