Esme Joy Allen works and lives in London.  Her bold and abstract work, primarily in gouache and ink pen, sit comfortably as part of any modern rustic setting. Words also form an important part of her pieces, sometimes partly hidden.  Her exceptional use of colour floats effortlessly across the page, at times soft and gentle and at others bold and vibrant.  In addition to being a visual artist, Esme is an actor and writes plays, film scripts and poetry.
